Indonesia’s Quiet Phinisi Brokerage
We are the yacht-sales arm of Juara Holding Group, a Bali-headquartered maritime and hospitality group operating since 2015. The same parent runs Komodo Luxury, Indonesia Juara Trip, Bali Premium Trip and Bali Premium Villa.
Our brokerage desk has commissioned, refitted and chartered phinisi continuously for a decade. We know which Bira yards deliver on time, which surveyors are credible, and which hulls genuinely pass scrutiny — and we say so before you fly out.
Western brokers fly in and quote retail. We work at builder cost, straight to the master craftsmen of Tana Beru and Bira — the village where every great phinisi has been laid since the Mandar Kingdom.

What does a phinisi cost?
Current listings run USD 1.18M to 5.45M depending on length, age and finish. A 60-tonne wooden vessel costs 30–60% less than a comparable Western superyacht.
Can a foreigner own a yacht in Indonesia?
Through a PMA — a foreign-owned Indonesian company. Juara Holding handles the registration, capital structure, sailing permits (CAIT/CIQP), crew documentation and tax structuring as part of the purchase.
How long does a new build take?
Twelve to eighteen months, hand-built in Bira or Tana Beru in South Sulawesi. We quote at builder cost rather than at the retail figure a visiting broker would put in front of you.
Can she earn charter income?
Yes. Placed in Komodo Luxury’s managed fleet she charters across Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands. Vessels of this class charter at USD 1,800–30,000 per night, and professionally managed hulls return an indicative 6–14% net a year — never guaranteed, and modelled per owner with a downside case.
Do you arrange survey and sea trial?
In-house on every listing. We also say which surveyors we consider credible and which hulls we would not put a client on — that conversation happens before you book a flight.
