Why a Yacht Brokerage Inside a Maritime Hospitality Group

Most yacht brokerages are pure intermediaries — they show, they sell, they collect commission, they move on. Our model is different: we sell yachts, but we also operate them, maintain them, and profit from their operating revenue through Komodo Luxury. This means we genuinely know which yachts are operationally viable, which builders deliver, which surveyors are credible, and which yachts will hold value because we ourselves choose to operate them.

It also means our buyers can opt-in to Komodo Luxury’s managed fleet — putting the yacht into immediate revenue from the day after closing — rather than starting an independent charter operation cold. Few brokers globally can offer this turnkey buy-then-operate-then-yield path.

Founder: Agung Afif

Juara Holding Group founder Agung Afif has commissioned, refitted, and operated phinisi yachts for over a decade. Born in Bali, he started Indonesia Juara Trip in 2014 with a single guide and a single car, growing it into a family of luxury maritime companies serving HNW clients across Indonesia.

Notable clients and partnerships across our group portfolio include Indonesian celebrities Baim Wong & Paula Verhoeven, Raffi Ahmad & Nagita Slavina; international photographer Daniel Kordan (Nikon and Gitzo ambassador, 2M+ followers); Russian luxury lifestyle influencer Anyuta Rai (3M+ followers); and entrepreneur Sergey Solonin (Nuanu City founder, former QIWI chairman). Our Brokerage Team

Our active brokerage team includes:

• Senior Broker — Bali office. Sources new-build and pre-owned phinisi acquisitions, manages Singapore and Hong Kong buyer pool, handles deal memo drafting and negotiation strategy.
• Senior Broker — Labuan Bajo office. Operates from Komodo Luxury’s Labuan Bajo headquarters, handles operating-yacht inspections, charter-fleet integration, and crew transition.
• Marine Surveyor (in-house). Indonesian-certified surveyor with 12 years of phinisi-specific experience. Handles preliminary inspection reports, sea trials, and refit scoping.
• Legal counsel + PMA team. Juara Holding’s full-time legal team handles MOA drafting, escrow, PMA company registration, sectoral licences, vessel registration, and ongoing compliance.
• Project management — Bira yard. Master shipwright liaison handling new-build commissions and refit projects in Bira and Tana Beru.
